The inaugural Goal of the Month (herein referred to as GotM) competition was won by Moore for his superb diving header against Meadow Farm.

August was a short month due to the starting date of competitions, a no show from Woodgate Valley didn't help matters either. Runner up goal was a fine lofted left foot finish by Kevin Jones against Rubery Juniors.

Upon receiving his GotM award, Moore commented "I had a nose bleed being that far up the pitch. Couldn't really miss it with how it was served by scouse... Lovely bit of medium rare on it with a side portion of onion rings! Always nice to get on the score sheet but even better when it's for the chaps. #MoreToComeFromTheMoore".

September has already seen 9 goals in 3 matches so next months' winner will have a lot more competition!
