Goal of the Month

November

November's GOTM was won by Dowsett for scoring 16 incredible goals in 4 weeks.

Despite an excellent contender in the form of Penny's goal, Dowsett managed to take the award with his devastating finishing, 16 goals in a month is quite astonishing. Some might say, rigged.

To summarise all his efforts, Dowsett tends to run onto a delicate through ball at the pace of a cheetah, or turn and bully his way past his man before firing expertly into the corner. No doubt all moves came from solid work at the back. I'd like to show more enthusiasm though I doubt I will ever score another Chaps Utd goal so I can't help but feel envious at missing out on this award. I suppose you could say Dowsett is a match winner and never lets us down, always gives his all, his movement and finishing is excellent, and his attitude and professionalism is top class. You could say those things. I suppose you could point out that he also set me up so should get credit for my glorious effort. I'll have to wrap it up there as I have run out of paper and ink.

Runner up in 17th place was Penny for his superb game changing goal against Stoke Sporting Reserves.
